The Project

Aquamarine are a team of digital marketing specialists based in Exeter offering PPC, Social Media and Content services. They approached us after their existing brand (created during startup) turned three years old. They were looking for something that reflected what they had become, something that was totally different. Our job was to understand their business, their personality and audience to create a new brand and website that attracted, engaged and converted. From our very first discovery session we knew this would be a fun one to work on.

The Brand

Using transparency and layers, we wanted to create a bold, bright and quirky brand that reflected Aquamarine. The logo took inspiration from Aquamarine's seaside origins paired with Origami, something that reflects the very nature of what they do. Digital marketing has many steps (or folds) but when done properly, in the right order, creates something beautiful.

The website has a clear value proposition, interactive design and a strong brand identity. We created on-brand iconography, engineered interactive features using overlapping, transparent shapes, and designed lots of micro features to enhance the UX as a user explores the site.
